SEBAKWE (MALE)
Many will recognise Sebakwe as the famous “Amarula” elephant that received wide and popular coverage on television screens around the world. Those who meet Sebakwe claim that he knows he’s a star – he absolutely adores attention!
This 35-year old is one of the largest bulls in the herd, and is truly a gentle giant that in his own quiet manner commands respect from his fellow elephants, trainers and handlers, who find him a joy to work with. Although a virtuous character, Sebakwe’s personality is changing as he starts to have designs on dominance of the herd.
Sebakwe has a close relationship with Setombe – they grew up in the same region.
