Fishan (male)
Known as the “joker” of the herd, Fishan is a 26-year old bull with a great sense of humour, his pranks getting him into “trouble” regularly. He was castrated in 1998, leaving him a bit lazy and laid-back, and slightly weaker than the other males.
When it comes to elephant-back safaris, Fishan avoids the mobile ramp that is used for guests to climb onto the elephant’s backs, preferring to kneel for his rider to mount – quite a sight to behold!
He enjoys playing with Somapani and Jabulani, two other young bulls. He also spends time with Lundi, as they grew up in the same region.
