Lente’s intense love of Africa
and its’ animals started many years ago when she was a little
girl. Her father had a farm near Hoedspruit (now part of Kapama)
and she was given an orphaned elephant to look after. Caring for
this animal was the beginning of a life-long passion for conservation.
